TJTA Boosters
The boosters are a non-profit organization comprised of parents aimed at supporting theater education at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. This includes publicizing the program’s shows, fundraising for special equipment, providing meal options for students during tech week and any other avenue that would support theater arts at TJHSST.

If you haven’t already, sign up to be on the email list that contains all the information pertaining to booster meetings, upcoming events and fundraisers! Booster meetings are a great way to hear about what is going on in the department and the current needs from parent volunteers. Information about the class, show necessities, and field trips are just some of the topics discussed.
Volunteering
For every production, boosters are always in need of volunteers! This could range from operating the ticket booth, ushering the auditorium doors, or selling concessions. All volunteers are given a complimentary ticket for the show they are volunteering. A sign-up genius will be sent out during shows for volunteers to sign up.
Donations
Consider purchasing a shoutout for the show programs to help support the theater programs! The shoutouts are a fun way to show support for the actors and technicians; they can be a family photo or an image attached with an inspirational message. Shoutout information is emailed out about a month and a half out from opening night.
